Templates and signatures

The emails that Sourced sends on your behalf (quotation requests, notices to non-awarded suppliers) are personalized at two levels: company-wide (the standard for everyone) and personal (your version, if you want to stand out). Your personal version replaces the company's one only when dynamic sender mode is enabled on your email account.

Templates

In Settings → Email Templates you edit the additional content of two types of sends, with My version / Company tabs:

  • Quotation request: the text that accompanies each RFQ.

  • Notice to non-awarded suppliers: the message for those who quoted and didn't win.

The indicator at the top shows you which one is being applied to your sends. Changes affect only future emails.

Signatures

In Settings → Signatures:

  • Personal: you configure your name, title and phone with a real-time preview. This signature is applied only when dynamic sender mode is active on your account; if it's off, the screen shows a notice indicating so.

  • Company: the organization's logo (it's uploaded here and appears in all signatures), the default data for each email account and the dynamic mode switch per account. The template uses variables such as {{sender_name}}, {{sender_title}}, {{sender_phone}} and {{signature_logo_url}}.

How it's resolved which signature is sent

  1. With dynamic sender on: your personal data → if missing, the account's → if missing, the account name.

  2. With dynamic sender off: always the account's data (the personal one is ignored).
