Access and roles
Last updated: 7/26/2026
Every user in your organization has a role that defines which sections they see and which actions they can take. Access is with your corporate email at hub.gosourced.ai, and you can sign in with a one-time code or with a password.
Your user is created by an administrator of your organization: you receive a temporary password by email and, on your first sign-in, the platform asks you to set a new one.
User roles
Role | What they can do | Home screen |
|---|---|---|
Buyer (buyer) | Full access to purchases, tenders, emails, bid specifications and suppliers. | Dashboard |
Approver (approver) | The same as a buyer, plus they approve purchase requests when there is an approval workflow. | Dashboard |
Requestor (requestor) | Creates purchase requests and tracks their status. | Dashboard |
Logistics (logistics) | Delivery tracking, calendar, data entry, consignment and suppliers. | Logistics dashboard |
Accounts payable (accounts payable) | Accounts payable: POs, invoices, shipping notices, statements and conversations. | Accounts payable |
Spec writer (spec writer) | Access only to Bid specifications and Repository. | Bid specifications |
Organization admin | Everything above plus the organization administration panel: users (creation, roles and credentials), departments, addresses, supplier portal and settings. | Dashboard |
External users
Suppliers: they access their own portal (see the For suppliers section).
Technical evaluators: they receive a link by email to answer questions and score tender proposals. They don't need an account and verify their identity with a code sent by email.
Email approvers: some approvals arrive as a direct link in the email, with verification by a one-time code.
Don't see a section?
Several features are enabled per organization (tenders, bid specifications, logistics, instant marketplace, WhatsApp, among others). If they don't appear in your menu, it may be because your role doesn't include them or because your organization doesn't have them active. Either way, your admin or your Sourced contact can guide you.
