Item history
The Item History searches across all of your organization's historical quotations to answer a simple question: how much did we pay for this before, and who did we buy it from?
How to search
- Type the item's name or description. The search combines text matching with semantic search, so it also finds items described in other words ("3HP centrifugal pump" finds "three-phase 3 HP electric pump").
- Refine with filters: supplier, category and date range (3, 6, 12, 24 months or all).
- Optionally include system items and imported historical data.
What it shows you
- The matching items, with their latest quotations.
- Which suppliers quoted them and at what prices.
- Price evolution to spot out-of-market increases.
What to use it for
- Before quoting: set a realistic target price on the request.
- Before awarding: validate that the best offer is in line with historical figures (the AI already makes this comparison when processing each quotation, but here you can explore it in depth).
- To negotiate: come to the conversation with data on what you paid before.
