Track my requisitions
Track my requisitions
Under Requisitions → My requisitions you see all your requests with their code, priority, status and needed-by date. Open any of them for the detail.
The timeline
Each requisition has its own timeline, with the milestones it goes through:
- Submitted: registered and its workflow started.
- Pending approval: waiting on an approver's sign-off (if your organization set up an approval workflow for requisitions; otherwise this step is skipped).
- Approved or Rejected: the outcome of the approval.
- With Purchasing: it's already in the buyer's inbox, ready to be launched.
- Quoting: Purchasing launched the items to suppliers.
- Awarded: a winner was chosen for the items.
- Purchase order issued: the purchase order was generated.
You won't see which supplier was asked to quote, or any amounts: that part of the process stays on Purchasing's side.
Cancelling
You can cancel your requisition as long as no item has been launched for quotes: once Purchasing launches the first item, it can no longer be cancelled from here.
Duplicating after a rejection
If your requisition is rejected, the way forward isn't cancelling it: use Duplicate and fix to build a new one with the same items and adjust whatever's needed.
Email notices
You get an email (besides the in-app notice) when your requisition is approved, when it's rejected (with the reason, if whoever rejected it left one) and when the purchase order is issued. Moving into quoting or getting awarded shows up in the app, but doesn't trigger a separate email.
