Your organization's email

Sourced uses a single mailbox per organization. All of the platform's emails go through that mailbox: quotation requests, supplier replies and notifications, both in spot purchasing and in tenders.

Why a single mailbox

Sourced manages the mailbox, but it lives under your organization's domain. That means it doesn't require access to your internal systems or to the users' personal emails, which keeps the organization's data separate from individual accounts.

How it connects

The mailbox can be connected via Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook or SMTP. The configuration is done in Tools → Email accounts.

Sends on behalf of each user

Even though all the emails go out from that shared mailbox, each one is signed with the name of the user who sends it. This way the supplier sees who's behind each request, without the organization having to open a mailbox per person.
