Email accounts

So that requests for quotation go out in your name and responses come back to your mailbox, connect your organization's email account in Settings → Email Accounts. There you select your provider and follow the connection process.
Ways to connect
There are two options. We recommend OAuth whenever your provider is Microsoft 365/Outlook or Google/Gmail: it's more secure (you don't share your password) and doesn't require periodic reconnection.
OAuth (recommended — Microsoft 365/Outlook and Gmail/Google Workspace): you authorize access from your own provider, without sharing the password with Sourced.
Direct IMAP/SMTP: for your own servers, where you configure host, port and credentials. There are shortcuts for Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo that fill in host and ports automatically.
Connect with Microsoft / Outlook (OAuth)
Go to Email Accounts (left menu) and click "Add account".
In the OAuth options, choose "Sign in with Microsoft".
Sign in with your Microsoft account and accept the permissions. When done, you're redirected back to Sourced and the account is connected.
First time in your organization: so that Microsoft enables Sourced in your Azure tenant once and for all, it's best to do this first sign-in with an administrator account. During the process, Microsoft offers to enable access for the whole organization (admin consent): select that option. Once the tenant is enabled:
You can connect the mailbox that will actually operate (for example procurement or logistics) without further approvals.
If you only used the admin account to grant consent, you can disconnect it afterward; the tenant approval remains.
Connect with Google / Gmail (OAuth)
Same flow: in Email Accounts → "Add account" → "Sign in with Google". Choose the account, accept the permissions and you're back in Sourced with the account connected. In Google Workspace, depending on your organization's policy, a Google admin may need to approve the app for the domain once.
Connect via IMAP/SMTP
If your email isn't Microsoft or Google (or you use your own server), in the "Add account" dialog switch to the "Add SMTP/IMAP Account" tab and enter host, port and credentials. The shortcuts for Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo fill in host and ports automatically.
Account management
Test connection: verifies that the account can send and receive before using it.
Default account: the one the system uses for all sends. To set it, mark it with the star. You can have more than one account connected.
Statuses: connected (operational), error (expired credentials or unreachable server, you need to reconnect) and pending.
Deleting an account asks for confirmation; emails already sent stay in the history.
Notes
IMAP/SMTP credentials are stored encrypted. With OAuth we never see or store your password.
Your signature is applied on top of the connected account.
If an account goes into error, pending sends aren't lost: they resume when you reconnect, although it's best to resolve it soon so quotations aren't delayed.
