Getting started

Sourced is a supply chain process automation platform that combines artificial intelligence, technology and operational experience to make companies' operations more efficient around the world. AI takes care of the repetitive, high-volume work (requesting quotations, reading suppliers' responses, normalizing prices and units, coordinating deliveries) so that your team can spend its time deciding and negotiating.

The three modules

Sourced is organized into three core modules that cover the sourcing cycle end to end. Your organization can have all of them enabled or just some.

Purchasing module

Purchasing is the platform's core module. It covers the management and development of your supplier base, and offers two ways to buy:

  • Spot purchasing: the request for quotation is sent and answered by email. It's the agile, day-to-day flow: you create a purchase request, Sourced gets quotes from suppliers, and you compare and award.

  • Formal tenders: the process runs through the portal, which provides greater robustness and compliance, and lets suppliers quote from the portal instead of by email.

The module also includes supporting tools: creating bid specifications with AI, an AI agent chat to check the status of processes from any area of the organization, and other features.

Logistics module

The Logistics module was designed for inbound logistics, that is, the logistics arising from purchases made in Sourced. Once a purchase is executed, the system manages the coordination of deliveries with suppliers (also called delivery follow-up or activation) to ensure that materials arrive on time and in full. This way, teams don't have to chase shipments or handle delays by hand.

Suppliers module

The Supplier Portal is the self-service space for your suppliers. It enables the registration of new suppliers and their onboarding into the management system, works as a communication hub with your organization, and lets suppliers receive and view documents:

  • Uploading invoices.

  • Viewing purchase orders.

  • Notifying material shipments.

  • General communications.

  • Storage of sensitive documents.

Integrated with your ERP or standalone

Sourced can operate integrated with your ERP (syncing requisitions, orders and master data with your system) or in an isolated way (standalone), working on its own without depending on any external integration. In both cases, the three modules are available.

Where to start

  • Read Access and roles to understand what each user can do.

  • Look at Navigation and interface to find your way around the menu.

  • Then continue with Purchasing, the platform's core module.
