Logistics & delivery
This module is enabled per organization. If you don't see the Logistics section, talk to your Sourced contact. It's used by buyers, approvers and the logistics role (which has it as its home screen).
The logistics module tracks what happens after the purchase order: making sure what was bought arrives, on time and complete. It combines delivery tracking, automatic follow-ups to suppliers, coordination with carriers and fulfillment metrics.
What it includes
Tracking: the status of each delivery in three views (table, by supplier and kanban), with automatic email follow-ups to suppliers.
Calendar: committed dates against actual ones.
Data load: importing trackings from your ERP via Excel/CSV, with AI-assisted column mapping.
Dashboard: on-time delivery (OTD), compliance by supplier and by item, aging and severity of delays.
Supplier scorecard: a reliability score that combines OTD, response, speed and rescheduling.
Consignment: management of consigned stock (if enabled).
How the cycle closes
The system writes to suppliers near each committed date and processes their responses with AI: if they confirm delivery, the line closes on its own; if they report a delay, the tracking is updated and the delay is measured; if the response is ambiguous, it's left for manual review. The follow-up cadences continue until each overdue delivery is resolved. When you load the actual receipts from your ERP, the system also measures effective lead times and each supplier's reliability.
