Create a requisition

Create a requisition

From Requisitions → My requisitions → New requisition you build the request in three steps. At the top you can give it a title (optional; otherwise it is built from the first line). The Next and Back buttons at the bottom walk through the steps, and you can also jump between the tabs: the draft saves itself.

  1. Items: add what you need by hand or with assisted import in the same step: paste text (an email or a list) or drop an Excel, CSV, TXT, PDF or image file. The system detects the format, interprets the content and builds the items without file-type tabs. Before accepting them, review any marked with an ambiguous quantity. As you type the description, the search box suggests items from your organization's materials master (by code, previous code or description); if you can't find what you're looking for, you can leave it as free text and the requisition proceeds the same way. Each item's Specifications section has optional manufacturer code and name, internal code, system, technical details and requirements. Selecting or matching a master material fills its existing data without overwriting what you entered. Review and edit these fields before submitting.
  2. Attachments: add specs, emails or general terms for the whole requisition, or specific attachments per item. Per-item attachments require that item to already be saved: wait for autosave to finish before uploading them.
  3. Delivery: choose the delivery address, the priority (Normal, High or Urgent) and the general needed-by date, which applies to every item unless one has its own date. Submit requisition registers it with a code (e.g. REQ-00042) and starts its workflow.

Autosave

There's no "Save" button: every change in Items and Attachments saves itself a few seconds after you stop typing. An indicator at the top shows "Saving..." or "Saved {n}s ago"; if it fails, it retries on its own.
