Configure the supplier portal
Last updated: 10/10/2026
In Administration → Supplier portal you configure self-service registration and operation for your suppliers.
Options
Enable portal: turns on your organization's public registration page (the URL with your slug is managed by Sourced).
Automatic approval:
On: every supplier that registers becomes operational instantly. It's convenient, although it's best to have clear vetting criteria.
Off: registrations come in as pending and someone from your team reviews them (data, documents, accepted terms) before approving them in My suppliers.
Branding: the public page's logo, description and contact details are edited directly from the panel; the URL with your slug is managed by Sourced.
What each level enables
The basic portal gives suppliers registration, their tenders and their profile.
The operations portal (enabled with Sourced) adds purchase orders, shipping notices, invoices and statements: the complete Accounts payable flow.
The consignment portal adds the settlements view for suppliers with consigned stock.
The full supplier-side experience is in the For suppliers section.
Signup questions and “Who is it requested from?”
In Signup questions you create Yes/No questions the supplier answers when registering (e.g. “Do you transport goods?” or “Do you work inside our facilities?”). A question that already has answers is deactivated instead of deleted, and its answers are kept. A question used by a document (active or not) can't be deactivated or deleted until you remove it from that document.
In each document type, the “Who is it requested from?” step defines which suppliers it is requested from: leave everything empty to request it from everyone, or choose countries, person type, tax status and questions (“Based on signup answers”). Tax statuses are offered for the countries you choose (each country has its own). It is requested from suppliers matching all the chosen filters; within one filter any option is enough (e.g. “Monotributo or VAT exempt”), and for questions answering Yes to any is enough. Example: “Cargo insurance” → questions: “Do you transport goods?”.
