Delivery and Purchase Order Tracking.

Every purchase order tracked from approval to delivery. When a supplier runs past their usual lead time, you get the alert before the line notices the shortage.

Module 02Logistics
⚠ ETA +2 days — renegotiating…✓ Delivery rescheduled and confirmed

The problem

An order goes out and goes quiet. Nobody knows if it shipped, if it's in transit, or if the supplier ever processed it, so someone picks up the phone to ask. Delays surface the day the material was supposed to arrive, which is exactly when it's too late to react.

The solution

Each PO carries a status that updates itself: confirmed, shipped, in transit, received. If a committed date passes without a shipment notice, Sourced chases the supplier and alerts you, and the dashboard shows every open order in one view.

A live status on every purchase order, updated as suppliers respond

Alerts that fire when a date slips, not after the material fails to arrive

One dashboard with every active order, filterable by supplier and priority

How tracking works.

Timeline for each order

Each PO shows its progress from issue to delivery, milestone by milestone, with the dates the supplier committed alongside the actuals.

Smart alerts

Sourced learns each supplier's usual lead time. When an order runs past it, or a deadline approaches with no movement, the alert goes out.

Executive dashboard

All active orders in one view. Filter by supplier, status, date, or priority to find the ones that need a push.

Questions about delivery tracking.

How is the delivery status updated?

The status updates automatically when the supplier responds to Sourced's follow-ups. You can also update it manually when goods arrive at your dock.

Can I configure delay alerts?

Yes. You can define alert thresholds by supplier or product category. For example, trigger an alert when a supplier exceeds 3 days of delay.

Can I track orders across multiple suppliers at once?

Yes. Sourced's dashboard shows all active purchase orders across every supplier in a single view. You can filter by supplier, status, expected delivery date, or priority to focus on what matters most.

Does tracking work if my supplier doesn't use Sourced?

Yes. Sourced follows up with suppliers by email automatically. When they respond with status updates, the system parses the information and updates the tracking timeline. No portal registration required from your suppliers.

Can I export tracking data for reports?

Yes. All tracking data is available via dashboards and can be exported. You can also set up automated reports that summarize delivery performance by supplier, category, or time period.
